Ive gotten these 2 pieces of bad feedback on my friend Molly. Ive had nothing but good things said about her from everyone else & shes been gone for nearly a month now. Ive been told my friend Molly is one of the nicest around here & this 1 person with 2 ORDERS! 2 Orders from the same person so, as to make my rating even worst, says horrible things about my dear friend. What can I do about this? Admin please help. I have gone from 15th ranked vendor to 141st. Is there no way about this?

Not much admins on the forums can do. the feedback has flaws, that is for sure. Im sure your buyers will look through all your feedback and discover that you are legit and ok. Its easy to spot fake/unjust ratings.

We really need a feedback response feature :)

Most repeat buyers on SR go by what is said in the forums vs what is said on feedback, which as you know can so easily be faked. You are a reputable vendor who is still 97/100.
Being #144 out of 188 is a bunch of bullshit and I don't know how SR calculated that. You have 5/5 on like 50+ transactions (one of which is mine) so I seriously doubt anyone will avoid buying from you. Keep fighting the good fight my friend! Try not to fret over one unhappy customer.

I've got two account both are 192 out of 192....so the ranking system has flaws.
Best you can do Mr. Crane is to contact the customer and find out what was wrong and maybe compensate them for it to get them to change your feedbacks back to 5/5.

A nasty rival seller? :o

That is my best bet. Or an ex-methamphetamine addict attempting to get wired off of Molly -_- Ive seen & heard of too many making this mistake. Melting where they sit claiming the whole time they arent feeling it. Go smoke crack or take adderal. & it was the same person leaving a 2/5 & a 3/5. Why 2 different ratings for the same item?... Is it possible for him to change his feedback for me? I will gladly give him a refund if he can. If not he can suck a fuck because he should have tried contacting me beforehand. Its not the actual number of the rating Im worried about. Its my place on the boards. My listings are going to be last page now. Return customers wont be a problem but, its the noobies Im trying to nab. And I've noticed a HUGE decline in my business since this false information became public. I was wondering why I wasn't getting any orders until I noticed this troll. Anyways thank you for your support everyone. I guess I will just have to work my way back up the list with continued patronage & "classy" service :)

Yes he can edit his feedback whenever he wants.

Anyone who has been on here for longer than two weeks (me) knows Mr. Crane is legit.
you post in the forum, multiple threads.
You have multiple GOOD threads about your products.
I wouldn't worry about it. Or if you really want, you could probably have some fun with it.
"I'm having a douchebag-gave-me-a-bad-review-and-refuses-to-get-in-touch-with-me-sale!
I'd like my ratings back where they were! Small orders only!
I'm looking for repeat customers! Please leave honest reviews!
First ten peoples only! And loginathome(AnonyOne) since he recommended this!"
I can dream....

Ugh... I can't believe I'm saying this (because I'm a huge, HUGE advocate of keeping the market as free and open as possible) but...
We desperately need buyer feedback to put a stop to this retarded shit. And the only way (that I can see anyway) to make buyer feedback viable is to make buyers have to purchase their accounts as well. Otherwise, a buyer would just jump ship to a new account as soon as he got a shitty feedback.
It seriously makes me disgusted to say that, but having just gotten scammed by a buyer myself and having read all these feedback horror stories, I just don't see an alternative.

Perhaps we need to simply change the way that the feedback system works. (again..)
Perhaps take a leaf from OVDB, and have certain people carry far more weight.
that way, if you are a major vendor who is considered trusted, you get a tag by your name.
the way we have is too easy to cheat, but the way OVDB has puts too much weight on the trusted ones.
I'm probably not gonna buy from OVDB unknown unless I know they are the same as here and are considered legit here.
There has to be a good compromise somewhere.

Lol, I had to make a new account 3 times because I forgot my password and password recovery doesn't exist here. But you could just use the feedback to your advantage, kind of like banks with your credit rating. No credit == Bad credit. You can either refuse to sell to people with no feedback, or only sell them smaller quantities until you've earned each other's trust. This way just starting a new account sends the rotten apples back to square 1, having to prove themselves again. It can also be used in determining how resolutions are resolved. Trust a seller with boocoos of positive feedback more than a buyer with no, little, or bad feedback. And easily settle them half/half when trusted sellers and buyers have an 'item lost in mail' problem. It cannot be completely prevented, but making it harder to scam makes it less worth it to many would-be scammers.

Off topic, but password recovery does exist here. Just make a temp account over at SR and send a message to the head honcho with your account details and SR will reset your password for ya. For future reference.
